Save PCA: Members, Your PCA Is at Risk

Why is the PCA at Risk?

  • Board Division: The PCA Board is divided, with two factions unable to agree on key governance issues, leading to disruptions and confusion.
  • Unilateral Actions: Board members Willie Jones and Michael Ates have been making significant decisions without proper approval, violating PCA bylaws and Texas Property Code.
  • Financial Mismanagement: Unauthorized contracts and financial decisions are draining PCA resources, potentially costing the Association thousands of dollars.
  • Blocked Member Participation: Members were unfairly blocked from attending meetings and making decisions about the future of the Association.
  • Misrepresentation: Some Board members have misrepresented themselves to law enforcement and the community, undermining trust in the Association’s leadership.

Why Does This Matter to You?

  • Financial Risks: Unauthorized contracts and mismanagement could lead to lawsuits, leaving the members financially responsible for any damages.
  • Loss of Control: If these actions are not stopped, it will diminish your rights as a member and the overall effectiveness of the PCA.
  • Legal Exposure: The Board’s violations may result in personal liability for the involved members, and further legal risks to the Association.

What Have Nadeem and Karen Done?

  • Standing Up for Transparency: Nadeem Naik and Karen Blakeman have continually fought for proper governance, ensuring financial transparency, and calling for member participation.
  • Seeking Legal Advice: They have consulted with legal professionals to ensure all actions follow the PCA bylaws and the Texas Property Code.
  • Opposing Unauthorized Actions: Nadeem and Karen have stood firm against the illegal actions of certain Board members and are fighting to restore lawful governance.

What Do You Need to Do?

  • Show Up to the Annual Meeting on the 20th! Your voice matters, and we need as many members as possible to attend to vote on the crucial decisions that will shape the future of the PCA.
  • If You Can’t Attend, Give Your Proxy to Nadeem and Karen: If you are unable to attend the meeting, please ensure your vote is counted by giving your proxy to Nadeem Naik and Karen Blakeman. This will help ensure your rights and interests are represented in the decisions made.
  • Protect the Future of PCA: The actions taken at this meeting will determine whether the PCA can move forward in a lawful, transparent, and effective manner. Your participation is critical!

Next Steps for the PCA:

  • Vote to Remove Unauthorized Board Members: We need to remove Willie Jones and Michael Ates from their positions to stop their unilateral actions and financial mismanagement.
  • Ensure Financial Accountability: Hold the Board accountable for any unauthorized contracts and actions that risk PCA’s finances.
